Course Aims

This half day course will enable you to comply with the legal requirements to carry out "suitable and sufficient" assessment of the risk related to activities within the workplace. Attendees will be required to successfully complete the entire course, including a practical risk assessment exercise to gain certification.

Course Summary

The Course is broken down into 4 learning outcomes

• Explain the importance of the the risk assessment include relevant regulations
• Devine both a Hazard and Risk
• Calculate risk using a risk matrix for severity and likelihood
• List the 5 steps of Risk assessment

Candidates will also be required to successfully complete a risk assessment based on a task given on the day.
