CURRENT PERMANENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Health & Safety Instructor/Assessor.

This position will be based at our Livingston Training Centre although some travel should be expected to support the needs of the business and client requirements. Applicants should have health & safety experience within the construction industry with a history of devising and delivering training to suit requirements.

Experience delivering H&S N/SVQ’s would be advantageous.

Required:

Teaching Qualification: PTTLS, AET or equivalent

Assessor Award: D32/33, A1, L&D9I or equivalent

Any of the safety qualifications below:

NVQ/SVQ L5 Occupational Safety & Health, NEBOSH in Construction, H&S Degree, Diploma Safety Management, NEBOSH Diploma Occupational Safety & Health

Example of courses to deliver:

1 Day H&S Awareness (CITB, SQA), 2 Day Site Supervisor Safety, 5 Day Site Manager Safety,

UKATA Asbestos Awareness, CAT & Genny, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Confined Space,

SVQ’s as required.

Plant/Groundworks Instructor/Assessor

Role:
This position is based in our Livingston centre however travel for site based training and VQ assessments will be required.
The appropriate candidate for this role must currently hold an in date CPCS Tester card preferably with categories such as Dumper, Roller, Above 10t 360 Exc. & Telehandler.
The remit for this role is to:

1. Deliver training and conduct testing to CPCS standards as required.
2. Assess candidates to SVQ L2 in Plant & Groundworks operations.
3. Develop & deliver training on various short courses.
4. Any other duties as required.

The successful candidate must be willing to expand their scope of course delivery.

Required:
CPCS/NPORS Instructor/Tester Card
Teaching Qualification: PTTLS, AET or equivalent
Assessor Award: D32/33, A1, L&D9I or equivalent

Preferable:
Experience in Streetworks
